The Ekoscope ™ was designed to appeal to the physicians and clinicians of yesteryear and those of the present and future. The removable headset of the Ekoscope ™ can be interchanged with a speaker, transforming the device and give it the ability readily for students to hear heart sounds and breath sounds in real time. This robust interchangeable technology enhances cohesive learning and teaching at the bedside (no more listening to recorded sounds only to learn the essentials of auscultation).

A neatly integrated pair of forward facing converging LED will allow for the illumination of ENT (eyes, nose & throat) readily. Unequal pupil or pharyngitis can be readily diagnosed using this integrated penlight.

The vivid TFT 45mm color screen will also allow for quick assessment of a patient's overall cardiac function, by displaying both an EKG and heart sound waveform simultaneously in the "Ekoscope" mode. This is revolutionary from the standpoint of physical assessment, that uses one fully integrated "game changing" device to not just hear heart sounds like a basic electronic stethoscope – clinicians can now detect more heart pathology, “beyond heart sounds.”™

The EKOSCOPE was first introduced at the American College of Cardiology Scientific Seminar (ACC.11), to rave reviews and overwhelming interest by the cardiology professionals in attendance. The Ekoscope ™ was ultimately selected as editor’s “TOP 5 PICKS FOR INNOVATION IN CARDIOLOGY,” by DIC and was cited to be the most advanced stethoscope at the ACC.11.

EKOSCOPE is a seamless fusion of the world’s most advanced electronic stethoscope and a revolutionary "wireless" (no cable) EKG technology that is FDA approved. This amalgamation of two quotidian medical technologies, bring 6 leads EKG instrumentation conveniently within reach, to detect life threatening occult heart dysrhythmia in less than one (1) minute!

According to the CDC, "Heart disease accounts for 1 in every 4 deaths annually in the United States and is the leading cause of death in both men and women worldwide. Moreover, each year more than 715,000 Americans have a heart attack and countless more suffer from other form of heart diseases such as atrial fibrillation , the most common type of (abnormal heart rhythm). Atrial fibrillation is traditionally detected with an EKG machine readily – non-invasively. Atrial fibrillation is now detectable with the Ekoscope™ with same level of reliability as an expensive EKG machine.

Stroke and heart failure are the two most common complication of Atrial Fibrillation. Stroke and heart disease combined, accounts for ~1/3 of all deaths in the United States each year” (CDC). The Ekoscope can make a significant impact in the early detection of heart disease & stroke worldwide, cost effectively.
